Trip south

Me at the blackwood river, of cause acting my age. The longest river in the south west. Just out of Pemberton. (North side)

Below me standing in front of the Gloucester tree. Climbed up one the same as it. Pemberton

Outside our room looking over the lake and I got to feed wild birds. Dame I was impressed.

Was so nice here. Beat Jay at miny golf here too. Got to try fresh water crayfish as well really nice.

Me out on the lake outside out room. Still at Pemberton

The tram we went on really neat went right into the bush the Karri trees there were huge

At one of the stops on the tram where you could get out. Was a bit cold this day was so nice though.

Standing inside a 3 hundard year old tree that at one time of it's life got hit by lighting and is still alive. It was huge.

Pulling face's look like my nephew Rhys as he pulls this face. Start of the tree top walk. Jay didn't like this to much as not to keen on hights and we were up 1200 feet and the bridge swayed as well. He is in front in photo below. Was not hanging around. This was in Walpole.

Jay is about here

Me at the very highest part of walk and looking over at the way down. Jay didn't take this photo was long gone,

Inside the Red gum trees and being a bit of a poser

.

A neat little beach outside Walpole called Green rocks.

The is a good surf sopt in Denmark called Ocean beach. Did have a surf as didn't take my board. Next time.

At Whale world in Albany. Was a whale yard up till the late 1970's when it closed down as was to much money to keep running. Sperm whale to the left and a Blue whale below. Big suckers.

Me right up the top of the last whaleing ship to be used. There are four more of these which have just been beached and left in the shollow waters.

Jay and the old whaling grounds behind him.

Looking out over King George Sounds

L

The ANZAC Mermorial to the First world War vets Was really neat to go up there as Albany and the king george sound was the last look at friendly land that the Aussie and Kiwi boys saw before steping foot at Gillipoli.

Me at the blow holes that weren't blowing as it was not that rough out at see.

Look out at the top of the light house at cape Leeuwin. Which is the point where the Indian Ocean stops and the Southern ocean starts.

Cape Leeuwin Light house and me in the door way looking like a ant. Climbed all the way to the top and walked out Jay just stayed inside as we were up about 56 meters. Was built in 1830's.

The Southern Ocean on the Left of the Light house and The Indain Ocean on the right

Above is what is left of Hamelin Bay .

Jay and I at Augusta

Above is the opening to the Mammoth Cave really nice going in them as it was a hot day and it was a nice 17 degresse in them.
To the left is the water fall in the Jewel Cave was really lovely in there, but not alot of my photo's came out.

This is the Famous surf spot in western Australia. They hold the Pro surf round here.
This in Margart River at Surfers point. I loved here and would love to live there.

This is our little cabin that we stayed at in Margerts.

Surfers point again

This is the Busselton jetty which is really really long. I was at the start of it.
